Funerals & Memorials

  • We live in a culture that’s deeply uncomfortable with grief. We downplay it, avoid it, and often leave people to navigate it alone. I’m here to change that. I’m devoted to creating beauty, meaning, and healing in the places they’re needed most.

As a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant with specialized training in funerals, memorials, and end-of-life ceremonies, I create personalized ceremonies that reflect the truth of the life being honored, and the depth of the loss being grieved. Whether you’re mourning a life cut short or celebrating a long life well lived, my ceremonies help you fully mark the passage, metabolize the grief, and begin to heal. They are grounded, emotionally honest, and deeply human. There’s room for laughter, for tears, for reverence and remembrance. Above all, they are a container for real emotion and connection—because grief is just love, squaring up to its oldest foe.

My process is deeply collaborative. I take the time to get to know your loved one through stories, memories, music, and images. I ask thoughtful questions and craft a ceremony that honors the complexity of your loss. I don’t shy away from the hard parts. I walk fearlessly into this tender terrain with you, holding space with compassion, clarity, and care. My ceremonies are always designed to reflect your truth, your people, and your needs.

I’m available to officiate funerals, memorials, and celebrations of life locally where I live, and I also consult with clients at a distance via Zoom. Together, we can co-create a deeply meaningful ceremony that someone close to you can lead with confidence.

Clients often tell me that I feel like an old friend—someone who knew their loved one personally. That’s because I listen closely, and I care deeply. Many have shared that the ceremony I created was “healing,” “powerful,” and “just what we needed to begin grieving and letting go.” I believe a well-crafted funeral is a form of medicine—an essential ritual for both mourning and mending. It doesn’t erase the pain, but it makes space for it, and for love too.

You don’t have to navigate grief and death alone. There is a way to honor your losses with beauty, depth, and meaning. I’m here to support you and help guide the way.
